As one of four architecture firms, BFA is participating in the development of a completely new, state of the art Quartier at the Berlin-Brandenburg border. 178 of the planned 900 apartments and 20 commercial units are being developed by BFA. Here, at the cusp of Berlin, a colorful, largely car-free and intergenerational cooperation is being created. At the entrance to the modern Quartier is a stately building designed by BFA, which seems to bend at one corner in accordance to the shape of the street. Behind it, a variety of residential living spaces open up around communal green recreational areas.
