At the edge of Berlin, near the border to Brandenburg, a new neighborhood is coming to life – diverse, intergenerational, and almost entirely car-free. BFA is one of four architecture firms involved in shaping this innovative development. Of the 900 planned residential units, 178 along with 20 commercial spaces are being carefully designed by our team. A striking building, thoughtfully adapted to the angled street layout, marks the entrance to the district. Behind it, a vibrant residential ensemble unfolds: a mix of housing types arranged around shared green spaces, creating a place where people of all ages can come together surrounded by nature, with space for connection and community.
