Living by the Wuhle River

BFA proposes building an innovative, urban block on a protected heritage site. The building ensemble will match the height and roof shape of the surroundings, creating a harmonious landscape. The facade, made of rich terracotta-colored plaster, emphasizes the connection to the historic buildings. Setbacks in the form of balcony loggias divide the 135-meter-long structure into five buildings with five floors. On the garden side, a lively facade design emerges through a rhythmic arrangement of loggias and projecting balconies.
